Adulterated: To make impure by adding inferior materials.

Alpha hydroxy: Used for skin exfoliation and cell renewal.

Anointing Oils: Oils used during ceremony or meditation.

Aromatherapy: Dynamic interaction of essential oils with our sense of smell and their absorption through our skin.

Aromatherapy Oils: Essential oils that have been mixed and diluted with carrier oils.

Borage Oil: Helps regulate the quality of your skin, with its high content of (GLA) Gamma Linolenic Acid.

Bouquet: Scent of essential oils or wines.

Calendula Oil: An infusion of marigold flowers that is highly prized for its skin healing properties.

Calophyllum Inophallium oil: Healing oil that is analgesic, anti-inflammatory, antibacterial, and helps heal blemishes.

Carrier Oils: Oils that dilute essential oils. They are used to make Aromatherapy oils. Some examples are almond, jojoba, & hazelnut.

Chakra: Wheels of energy that intersect with different parts of the body. Each of the seven chakras of the human energy field has different emotional and spiritual attributes.

Energetic Debris: Unwanted emotional energy such as anger, sadness or guilt.

Essential Oils: Highly concentrated liquids extracted from plants usually through stream distillation.

Exfoliating: The removal of loose skin.

Flower Essences: A vibrational plant preparation that contains the etheric and life force pattern of the plant. They help us shift our emotions to a higher frequency.

Golden Jojoba: Highest quality liquid seed wax pressed from jojoba beans. Beneficial to the skin.

Hypothalamus: Relay station to other parts of the brain.

Limbic Brain: Stores our memories.

Lipid Soluble: Something that dissolves in fats.

Lymphatic System: Removes toxins from the body.

Nervous System: A bodily system that conveys impulses of pain, sensation and movement.

Pascalite Clay: Gentle clay, which detoxifies the skin and heals blemishes.

Perfume Attars: Sometimes called perfume oils, they are essential oils in odorless Sandalwood. They have an expanded bouquet and a long lasting scent.

Rhassoul Clay: Improves skin clarity, removes dead skin layers, smoothes texture and improves elasticity.

Rose Hip Seed Oil: With its high content of Vitamin A, it helps your skin counter the effects of aging, stress, exposure to the sun, and diminishes scarring.

Rose Water: A by-product of the steam distillation of roses. It is a mild and healing skin astringent.

Sea Clay: A marine sediment that nourishes and helps draw out toxins, while mineralizing the skin.

Steam Distillation: Process through which essential oils are extracted from plants.

Spritzer: A spray that contains essential oils, water, and sometimes flower essences.

Synthetic: Artificial or manmade substance.

Volatile: To evaporate quickly.
